Ready For This Bombshell . . .I Don't Think So!

Good Morning!! Hope you're having a great day.  I'm enjoying the cool front that has moved in for the next few hours.  I know I haven't been on here in a couple of weeks, but this time, it's because I've been deep into studying something, because I found something that . . . wellllll it's not going to go over well with some people.

I’m about to drop a bombshell . .. . . . ready for it?  I don’t think some, a lot really, are,  but here it comes anyway!

Guess What??????  Christians are NOT supposed to judge anyone who is outside of the faith!  Nope!  Not allowed to judge who is sinning, who isn’t, or who is worthy of salvation!!

We are ONLY ALLOWED to judge our fellow Christians!!!!!

Where do I get that?  That can’t be true!!  Right???  Wrong!  Paul said it when he wrote the church in Corinth condemning them for overlooking a fellow member of the church for living in sexual sin with his father’s wife in 1 Corinthians 5.

As it is written in verses 9 – 13 (taken from The Living Bible):
“When I wrote to you before I said not to mix with evil people.  But when I said that, I wasn’t talking about non-believers who live in sexual sin, or are greedy cheats and thieves and idol worshipers.  For you can’t live in this world without being with people like that.  What I meant was that you are NOT to keep company with anyone who claims to be a Christian but indulges in sexual sins, or is greedy, or is a swindler, or worships idols, or is a drunkard or abusive.  Don’t even eat lunch with such person.
It isn’t our job to judge outsiders (those outside faith).  But it is certainly our job to judge and deal strongly with those who are members of the church, who are sinning in these ways.
God alone is the Judge of those on the outside of our faith.  But you yourselves must deal with this man and put him out of your church.”

Ouch!!! That stings a little doesn’t it?  When was the last time you heard that used in a sermon?  Probably Never!!!  Shoot! Just putting the gossipers alone out of the church would drop the attendance numbers to at least half!

Why is it we don’t hear that taught in church?  Because we Christians love to put ourselves on a pedestal up there with God, deeming ourselves equally as holy as God himself.  And we love to have other humans praising us for our “holiness” instead of praising God.

We love to rub our self-proclaimed “righteousness” in other people’s faces as we judge them for being sinners and unworthy of God while we worship our idols of money, power, social status, vanity, gossiping, possessions, TV, Internet, Sports stars, entertainment stars, authors, and even our own self-proclaimed holiness.

The Bible, which is the voice of God, tells us that we are not allowed to judge unbelievers, only other Christians.

So pull yourselves down off of those self-serving pedestals, get on your knees and ask God to forgive you.

And I’d do it quick!  Remember what happened to Lucifer when he deemed himself equal to God?  God created Hell just for Lucifer and then kicked him out of Heaven!

Hmmm . . . I wonder if God has a personal hell waiting for each of us Christians who are sinning against God in this manner?

Yep! It Happened.

I hear one twin, from the kitchen, suddenly in a very squeaky voice shriek ... "What's with you breaking off body parts and why are they always mine?????"
Followed by the other twin giggling maniacally.
No! I'm not going in there, and I refuse to let it worry me.   I'm just going to sit here and pretend it didn't happen.

Oooh! Another Trick Exposed!

Good Morning!!  How are you today?  I hope this is finding you well, and happy!  Things are going better here, in fact it gets better a little more everyday.  I've got my cup of coffee, and looking around my room and realizing just how badly I need to dust LOL.  Ugh, right?

Got some good news the other day that I want to share . . . . Grand-baby number five is on the way!!!!  First of all, let me say this right now . . .my bet is that it's a girl!!!  And the really cool thing is that she's due just five days after her momma's birthday!!!!!  I Can't Wait!!!!!!

The last time I shared with you all, I shared something God had been working hard to teach me, which is the truth about who the devil really is and what he really wants.  Because, like I've said before, when you know the truth about the devil and his lies, along with his tricks, then he begins to lose power.  Much like that bully in your life, that once you figured out why they were/are doing what they were/are doing, then they began to lose power over you.

And you know how I said that his main goal is not to end up with our souls when we die, but to use us to spite God by messing with us while we're alive to try and keep us from having a relationship with God?

Did you notice how that is contrary to what Religion teaches?  Have you figured out why yet?  Can I tell you?  It's because the devil has gotten into religion and twisted the heart of it with lies.  After all, what better way to get back at God for not letting the devil have what he wanted then to twist the very thing that was supposed to guide us to God, into something that tells us over and over that we will NEVER be good enough.  Or that the only way we can get to heaven is to hate someone else for some reason.

One of the ways he does this is by convincing Christians to only read a portion of what was being said and then quote it as a whole, to take it out of context.  And then he also throws vanity into it, and I don't mean the kind of vanity that involves looks, I'm talking about the kind where someone needs to be right all of the time in order to feel they have any value.  The devil will push us to be so afraid to be wrong about what we believe in these scriptures that we've picked and chosen to sate this vain need to be right, that we will refuse to read the scriptures in their entirety to make sure that we're are truly getting the full message.  He also uses that fear to keep us from actually studying the scriptures for fear of finding out that we are wrong.

If you're wondering if this is true, try it for yourself.  Pick a scripture that you're curious about and look it up.  But don't just read the single scripture, read several of the verses before and after and watch what happens.  You will notice that the scripture ends up meaning something other then what it first appeared to mean.  And if you need any help understanding what you're doing, please email me at fiestyblue62@hotmail.com, I'll walk you through it.

I think it's time we start tearing away all of the lies this bully, the devil, is hiding behind and expose him for who he really is.  Don't you?

In the meantime . . .

Have a great day!

Stay safe!

Love you guys!

Really! That's All It Is!!!

Good Morning!  How are you today?  Things are starting to get back into a normal routine here . . .finally lol.  My hubby has finally been given  the go ahead by his back surgeon to start physical therapy . . .YAY!  And I got a new coffee maker . . . .YAY!! As you know, I have to have my coffee. LOL

I know my last post was kind of intense, but for me, I needed to do it, because like I've shared in a couple of past blogs, the devil will start throwing junk at you to try and steal your faith.  He's really bad about it when you make a decision to move deeper into your relationship with God.  And so, by posting what I did, I was just standing my ground about the devil's little temper-tantrum.

I wonder if you guys truly understand the truth about the whole God vs devil thing.  And I'm not talking about what religious Christians would have you believe.   It is not a case of  "he who has the most souls when the world ends wins" garbage!!!  Because, contrary to what they say, the devil doesn't give a rat's rear-end if he gets our souls after we die!!!  At that point we're useless to him.

Instead he wants us alive so he can use us for his real purpose, and that is to spite God and try to keep Him from having what He wants, which is a relationship with us. All the devil is, is a spiteful little brat who is trying to get back at "daddy" for not letting him have what he wants.

And in case you didn't know the story, basically it goes like this . . . .the devil was one of God's arch-angels (these are the angels that not only had God's supernaturally abilities, but they, unlike the regular angels, have free-will).  His name then was Lucifer.

Well "Luci" boy forgot who he actually was and began having delusions of grandeur . . . meaning he began to think of himself as a god, forgetting that he was created by the real God and that he didn't just magically create himself.   And he wanted to be worshiped like a god and to actually control heaven, so he started causing all kinds of trouble.  He even went so far as to sneak down here and started not only having sex with human women, but started appearing to men and telling them he was a god.

Well, God, being the true God, did what most fathers would do, he told "ole Luci boy" that he could either straighten his act out or go to his room until he decided to follow the rules, and kicked "Luci"boy out of heaven and into the special room God created for him . . . . we know it as hell.  (And God also gave the group of arch-angels that had been following Lucifer around doing his bidding the choice to straighten up or accompany "ole Luci boy" to hell and become his servants for eternity.  At which point, some of them changed their ways and the rest ended up serving as the devil's evil little minions.)

So, to put the whole thing in perspective, it's a grudge match with all of the grudge being the devil's.

And you might be thinking, well what good does it do to take my walk any farther with God, or even choose to have a relationship with Him at all if I'm only going to get caught in the middle?  Because, whether you choose to have a relationship with God or not, the devil will still come at you just to spite God.

Having a relationship with God gives you everything you need to defeat the devil.  And I don't know about you, but I love being able to pull the rug out from under the devil's feet and knocking him off of his self-made pedestal!  *insert ornery grin here*

Until next time . . . .

Stay safe!

Love ya!

Just Saying . . . . .

I CRAVE God!!!  I don’t have a hunger, because you can satisfy a hunger!  And I don’t have a thirst, because you can satisfy a thirst!  Instead, I do have a CRAVING that is only getting worse, because just as it is with a physical craving, when you eat one thing trying to satisfy that craving, you end up only making it worse.  The more I study the Bible, the more I spend time in God getting to know Him, the more I crave Him!

And I didn’t “find” God, I’ve always known Him.   I don’t “believe” in God, or Christ, because I KNOW them.  To say I believe isn’t as solid, immovable, and unshakable as knowing God!   There is NO DOUBT for me.  There NEVER has been.  I KNOW that there IS a God.  I KNOW that Jesus WAS God’s Son and therefore, God in the physical.  I KNOW that because of Jesus’s death I now have full access to God and His Truth, not because I’m “chosen”, “ordained” or “special” in any way, but simply because I ACCEPT that Jesus died so that I could have it.

I am happiest when I surrender my will to God.  I’m the most peaceful when I surrender everything I think I know and understand about the scriptures, life, and right and wrong to Him and ask Him to prove me wrong so that I can do what is His Will for me to do.   And I feel the closest to God when I tell others about what He has taught me about His Truth as to who I really am in and through Him, and who He really is.

I don’t READ the Bible.  I don’t MEMORIZE only those scriptures that appeal to my vanity so that I can set myself above others to look down and judge who is worthy and who isn’t, thereby declaring myself equal to God.  I STUDY the Bible to KNOW God, surrendering over and over again to Him everything I think I understand until I am filled with God’s peace that I finally do understand what God wants me to know.

I am no longer AFRAID of DEATH, because I KNOW that it will only be then that I will be made fully WHOLE, having God’s full wisdom and finally having that craving sated.  Just as I am no longer AFRAID to LIVE, eagerly waiting to see what God’s plan is for me and how He plans to use me.

I surrender all of my will, all of my plans, all of my understanding, all of my wants to God.

Thank you God, for everything you are, and for everything that Jesus’ death means for me.  Thank you for everything I have because of everything You are and everything that Christ did.  Thank you for receiving me and using me in all of my imperfection.  You are my God!  Glory be to You!

Still amazed!!!

Good afternoon.  How are you today?  I hope your day is going smoothly!  I'm having a kind of slow day today.  It's quiet, uneventful, and actually kind of peaceful around here today.

It's amazing how God works sometimes!!!!!  Especially when you surrender you need to be right about something and instead ask God to show you if you're wrong.  When you say to Him, "Okay God, I thought I knew that I was doing the right thing, thinking the right thing, but now I'm not sure if I am.  If I'm wrong, God, show me so I can do and think the right thing."

That's just what I did a few days ago, and I got an answer that I couldn't miss.

I don't know if I've mentioned before that we home-school our twins, but we do.  We didn't start from the beginning, they went to public school till the end of third grade.  That's when we pulled them out, and we did so because we believed we could do better.

So, we prayed and asked God what was the right thing to do.  And after we were filled with peace about it, we pulled them out and started homeschooling.

But recently some people have been telling  me that I'm doing the wrong thing, because of the whole social issue, and that the boys were never going to learn how to develop social skills if I didn't put them back into public school.  And since these were people that I respected, it caused me to doubt.

So, I went to God again, and I asked Him to show me if I was wrong, because I know He knows what is best for my sons, and I want to do His Will for them.  I told Him that I didn't care about anything else but what He wanted for them, and if He showed me that they did need to go back to public school that I could do what was His will.

Then yesterday, I was listening to a Bible teacher that I really admire for her deep, personal relationship with God.  Her name is Joyce Meyer.  But, as I was saying, I was listening to her podcast on iTunes about "Defeating Giants", and in the first few minutes of listening to part one she mentioned homeschooling.  In all the times I've listened to her she has never mentioned homeschooling before!!!!  Never!  And believe me, I have several of her teachings, books, devotionals and so on.

This time though, she was talking about when you believe that God has guided you to do something and you decide to do it, no matter what it is, "say it's homeschooling . . . . "

I had told God that if I was wrong about homeschooling the boys to show me so that I could do what He wanted me to do, and He answered my prayer!!!!  He made it very clear so that I could not misunderstand - I was to continuing homeschooling the boys, resist the devil when he uses other people to try to get me to do something other than what I believed God wanted, and leave the rest to Him!!

All of this guilt and condemnation that I was feeling because the devil used these other people telling me that I was wrong, was gone!!  And I am filled with peace once again.  I'm so relieved!!! Thank you God for your truth!!!!!!

And thank you for letting me share this with you.

Talk to you soon.

Stay Safe!!!

Love ya.

Ok, So She Didn't . . .

. . . fall off of the planet!!
Hello!  I know it's been a couple of months since my last post.  And I will be honest, I was beginning to question whether I was on the right path with this blog. As I have said before, I believed God had pushed me to start sharing with you all of the things He's taught me so that others could know Him and His truths as I do.

So, I did.  But as it is anytime you choose to move forward with anything that you believe God wants you to do, the enemy came against me hard, something that I've explained in other posts about how he'll do.  And since I'm human, I fell for it, hook, line, and sinker!

But that's the amazing thing about God, it doesn't matter to Him how human we are, it matters to Him how deep and rich our relationship with Him is.  We don't have to be "perfect" because of His greatness and goodness, He will meet us in our imperfection and make us "perfect" in it.

Every time that the enemy has come against me during the "quiet time" in my blogging, God put something in my path that would point me back to what He'd originally pushed me to do.  Validation after validation that I was on the right path would come to me through scripture, or through a spiritual leader that I greatly respect.

My favorite part of this all would have to be the "Neon" signs that God would plant in front of me saying, "Here's the answer!"

Seriously folks!!!  If they had been actual signs, they would have been as big as a house and in bright neon lights!!!!  LOL

So, I'm back and I plan on continuing on taking this blog on the path I know God wants it to go.  And I'm believing & trusting in, relying & leaning on God to take this where it needs to go and accomplish what He needs it to accomplish.

I love you all, and I hope that you will keep "tuning in" to see where this goes.  I just know that when I'm sharing with you, I'm at my most peaceful.

Love you guys,
Stay Safe!

Blown Away . . . Again

Good Morning! Hope this finds you having a good day.  I've got my cup of coffee and my little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel laying next to me with her head in my lap.  Yep, we have a giant of a dog whose half Bloodhound and Great Pyrenees, but looks like a Coon hound with giantism.  She's 115 pounds of cuddle baby.  Then we have a twelve pound Cavalier.  Can you guess which one rules the roost?  LOL

I have to share something that happened yesterday, that even with all of my experiences with God, I'm still blown away!  You would think by now, I'd be used to it, but when He does stuff like this it never ceases to amaze me.  Seriously.

I've got some things going on in my life that I just can't figure out and I'm really struggling to get a handle on. So, yesterday, I prayed on them.  I've prayed before, but this time I truly let go of the whole "doing it myself" mindset and asked God to show/teach me what I need to do, or guide me to someone who can.  I surrendered to God completely and told him that I can't do it on my own.  I surrendered every attempt that I had made to solve it on my own and that I was going to let Him have it and just trust Him to show me what to do.

And that's what He was waiting for, me to give up my plans, my trying to do it on my own and ask Him for help.  Kind of like how we parents will know our child is going about a problem the wrong way, but they're convinced they can do it, so we just sit back and wait for them to realize that their understanding of the issue is not what they thought and finally ask for help.  And sometimes it will just "kill" us as parents to do that, because we know we can't force our wisdom on them.  We can only sit back and wait.

That's how it is for God.  He has to sit back and wait because He gave up the ability to push His way into our lives when He gave us free-will.

I said my prayer yesterday morning at a little after 11AM.  And at 4:15PM exactly,  I received an email offer for a book and teaching series that I could buy that was about the problems I had just prayed about five hours earlier.

Seriously!  The exact problems I had finally surrendered to God just hours earlier.  LOL God couldn't have been anymore blatant!

I was blown away.

I was humbled that He would care so deeply about my problems, about me,  that He would be so blatant about what He wanted me to do to about them so that they could be taken care of the best way possible, and probably permanently.

But most of all, I was relieved to have an answer, a light at the end of the tunnel.

And I was crying like a child rescued by my parent.

Just had to share.

Till next time,

Stay safe.

Love ya!

Uh Oh! She's Back. LOL

Good Morning!  How are things with you today?  Yep!  I'm still around. . . . I didn't fall off the planet. LOL!  Sorry about that.  It was like I lost my focus for a little bit. Every time I would start to write, something would happen to cause me to totally lose my train-of-thought and then I couldn't find my way back to it.

But remember how I said that the devil doesn't want you to know the truth about how he works, and who he truly is?  Yeah, well I can always tell when I'm making serious headway against his lies, or when I'm learning and understanding the truth about God, or about the devil, because he will throw anything he can at me to distract me.  Stuff like, phone call after phone call, or one of the kids breaking something, or one of them getting hurt.  Or things like, the dishwasher springing a leak, the washer leaking, a pipe breaking, power outages, sneezing fits, kinking my neck and getting a migraine.

It happens every time I start making a real break-through and begin to really get what truth that God is showing me.  And it doesn't matter whether it is God's truth about Himself, me, someone I care about, a situation that I'm dealing with, or revealing one of the devil's lies, it happens, those distractions.

And that's something that God has been working hard to teach me, to make me realize just how the devil works.  And I know why too, because when I know and understand, then it takes the devil's ability to succeed away.  Isn't that true of a lot of a lot of things?  Once you know the truth, they no longer the have power to interfere, scare, control or hold you back?

And I must have been reaching someone who really needed to hear the truth about God, or the devil, because every time I started to share something new with you all the distractions would start.  But now that I finally took a step back and caught on to it again, sometimes it will take me a little bit - I'm still learning myself, I'm determined and I have my mind set that I'm going to share with you what I have been taught, no matter what!!!  The devil can come against me with distractions and such, I'm going to share with you everything that God has taught me about who the devil really is and how he works so that you can know the truth too.

And why?  Because it is freeing, and empowering.  And because, contrary to what Legalistic Religion wants you to believe, God does want us to be empowered.  After all, can you really have a good, healthy and fulfilling relationship with someone if only one person has all the power and all the truth?
Think about it.

Until next time . . .

Stay safe.

Love ya!
